Erasmus European Partnership

European Teachers visit Stebonheath - Teachers from Lithuania, France, Greece and Spain visited the school in March. They delivered a series of lessons to all our pupil on their respective countries. They also observed our teachers in action and saw first hand how our pupils learn. Additionally, they visited many of the beautiful areas in the locality and visited Parc Y Scarlets.

Stebonheath School has embarked on a two year European Project entitled 'Sharing Time, Connecting Learning'with the following schools:

  • Ecole Primaire St Viance, France
  • 2nd Primary School of the City of Rhodes, Greece
  • Ceip v Centenario, San Sebastian de los Reyes, Madrid, Spain
  • Ecole Elementaire de Cosnac, France
  • Siauliu Lopselis-Darzelis 'Pasaka' Lithuania

 In early November, Mr Littler visited the two French schools, near Brive to learn about the project and to learn about the French education system and observe lessons in the two schools. Whilst there, all the teachers from the different countries gave a series of lessons for all the French pupils, who thoroughly enjoyed the experience of learning from visitors from different European countries.

 

In March, 2019, teachers from all the partner schools will be visiting Stebonheath for a week, and will deliver a series of lessons to our pupils. Our visitors will learn about the Welsh education system and New wales Curriculum, and will be shown many of our famous landmarks and areas of outstanding natural beauty.
