Y5&6 classes have been involved in Cricket Skills Workshops this New Year.
Our Y6 children are taking part in a READING WARRIORS project with Coedcae school. They have each been given a copy of Kensuke's Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo

Our Year 6 pupils had a Science Transition Day at Coedcae School in November and thoroughly enjoyed themselves!

Pupils in Y5/6 took part in a SUSTAINABLE FARMING project during this Summer Term. They learnt about different ways of growing crops and made their own greenhouses. They programmed micro-bits that gave water and air at regular intervals and monitored the growth of their crops.

Welsh Rugby Referee Martyn Jones visited school to talk to Y6 pupils about refereeing, rules and fair play in sport.
Hanesion Llanelli - Llanelli History - Pupils from Y5&6 are taking part in a history project looking at the lives of prominent people from Llanelli. They created a podcast about the Reverend David Rees, the prominent nonconformist Minister of Capel Als for 37years from 1835-1872
